Over-Soul

  Menu After finishing your character creation, you may also notice a set of buttons on the lower left side of the screen. They are the game’s menu and contain several useful functions.   The ‘Biography’ button leads you to a submenu where you can view general details about your character, such as appearance, schedule, mental, employment, and memory. (more on this later.)  ‘Stats’ leads you to a submenu where you can view your attributes, skills (sorted by category), along with sex attributes and history. ‘Relationships’ is where you can view your acquaintances. Your relationship status and value, your lust and love towards each other, along with what you’ve learned about them so far, such as personality traits and interests. ‘Inventory’ is where you can view your items, sorted by category. ‘Options’ is where you can save, load, go back to the title screen, quit the game, and debug.   Getting started When you start a new game, the game will generate the world and NPCs that live in it. Afterwards, you’ll be able to create your character. ‘Over-Soul’ features a deep, highly detailed character creation system. There are 3 major sub-categories for character creation; basic, physical, and mental.  Character creation: Basic Select your name and last name from the list of randomly-generated ones. The names are based on your sex, so make sure to decide your sex first before your name, otherwise, your name will be reset. Currently, you can only be male or female, as ‘hermaphrodite’ is disabled in this version. Select your race. For now, there are 5 races available (4 anthropomorphic races and 1 non-morph race.) which are: human, dog, cat, mouse, and bunny. Your race affects your physical appearance and your attributes.   What is ‘Over-Soul’? ‘Over-Soul’ is a text-based adult fantasy life sim RPG, where you create your character and live your daily life in a world where anthropomorphic races are the norm. You can perform various activities, get a job, build relationships, have sex, and get knocked (or knock someone) up. The NPCs also live their own life, improve their own skills, interact with each other independently from the player, and even form their own memories. Note: The above only describes what is currently in the game. It doesn’t contain what I plan to add in the future.  This is the initial release. You can download it here.
